Abbey Road and The Beatles. Many British citizens as well as tourists have tried to reenact this infamous scene, which is now a main focus point on the London turism circuit. The crossing, named the Zebra Crossing for the black and white stripes is located near EMI's Abbey Road Studios which has been used as the recording studio for numerous artists such as The Beatles, Oasis, Pink Floyd, and more recently, Kanye West. Many movies like Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Arc, and Brave Heart have also been scored there.
When I look at this photo, sadly the one thing that pops into my head is the image of Lindsay Lohan and Natasha Richardson walking across this road in The Parent Trap. I think that its kind of weird how something so small such as crossing a street has become so popular and immortalized.
